When we first met 18-month-old Kim in DPR Korea, she was so malnourished that she couldn’t walk. “Around mid-March she became sick,” said her mother, Hyun Un Jong. “She had a high fever and a cough. I was really worried.” After treatment at a UNICEF-supported hospital, little Kim is now back on her feet and smiling again. To help combat malnutrition for children like Kim, we’re helping to train health workers, providing vital nutritional food and supporting the expansion of community health services across the country. #ForEveryChild, health. © UNICEF/UN0216775/Nazer
He’s just a child, yet he’s being treated for injuries in a conflict caused by adults. This little boy is being cared for at a UNICEF-supported hospital in the port city of Hodeidah, Yemen. Millions of children like him depend on aid in Yemen. Most of it is funnelled through Hodeidah. With partners, we’re rushing to deliver lifesaving supplies amidst heavy fighting. Food is running out. Water is running out. Fuel is running out. Time is running out. Children must be protected NOW. © UNICEF/UN0216978/Ayyashi #ChildrenUnderAttack

The love of a mother! Ntumba holds her 4-month-old baby at a UNICEF-supported health facility in DR Congo. “When I heard they were taking care of the malnutrition cases at the centre, I directly brought my children. I want them to be in good health.” Ntumba tells us. @unicefrdcongo #ChildrenUnderAttack © UNICEF/UN0184748/Tremeau
