In this case the OBLIQUES are the target! Don't think this is easy simply because 2 old farts are the models ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ SWIPE LEFT Hip flexion/extension makes the Unilateral Holy Cross a dynamic movement BUT the UNEVEN load from the Joust Bar simultaneously creates an iso-hold on the obliques. It lterally feels like a SHARK BITE ๐Ÿฆˆ on your obliques!!! I'm still sore after 3 days! Is this an anti-rotation movement?!๐Ÿค”...You bet!! You must counter balance the load to keep your torso neutral and avoid torsion in the lumbar spine. Main benefits are anterior core muscles and hip flexors. Secondary benefits includes the lumbar muscles which acts as stabilizers 25 reps x 3 Witches Brew - similar to Reverse Situps but withh a circular motion to add oblique muscle tension 8/direction/x2 Ground & Pound- this will make your obliques cry!๐Ÿ˜ซ The video doesn't do justice how much dynamic tension is required by the obliques and how much isometric tension is generated by the anterior and posterior core muscles. 50x4 &Flow
