Last week I announced a contest in which I asked people to create a caption for a photo I had posted and the best caption would win an official NYPD hat and patch. The next day I chose @t.o.n.y.b.x.n.y due to him making me literally laugh out loud with his caption and today I made good on my promise as he received his care package in the mail with a few extra goodies I threw in 🙏🏼 . Not only is Tony an aspiring Police Officer but he’s also committed himself to an incredible weight loss journey. Through his hard work and dedication he’s inspiring others to do the same and I have no doubt that one day he’ll proudly wear the prestigious NYPD patch on his shoulder ⚫️🔵⚫️ . I am truly on a mission to pay it forward as much as I possibly can for as long as I possibly can 🙏🏼

Had the pleasure of meeting these two gentlemen at National Night Out Against Crime and also got to play ball against some of East New York’s finest! . Thank you for the great conversation my brothers and for the support! Be safe and God bless always💯💯💯

Alfredo called me today and I could just tell by the sound of his voice that something was definitely wrong. I invited him to my office and it was obvious that he hadn’t showered in a few days and was hungry. We talked for awhile and I found out what was bothering him so much... he said he had gone to detox but had recently relapsed and just knowing that this was weighing on his heart is a great sign that he is looking to change 🙌🏼 We shouldn’t judge others... you never know what someone may be struggling with and you may have an opportunity to be the light for them!💡 . I gave him some words of encouragement and let him know how proud I am of him and how far he’s come. I also decided to play him the video that I made about us... the one I’ve shared countless times during my presentations. I could see the raw emotion in his eyes as they welt up with tears of joy😢. Needless to say Alfredo left my office with a happy heart, a smile on his face and was on his way to get a haircut, shower and had money for food. Today was a good day 🙏🏼

Here’s to the one guy that consistently bust my chops every single day 😂 Keep messing with me and the next post won’t be so flattering 😆 . All jokes aside.. Tommy is one of the hardest working people that I know. He’s an amazing husband, an amazing father to his two young boys, and an amazing friend. Tommy is the type of person that would literally give you the shirt right off his back. He came to the big city by way of Wisconsin and has fulfilled his dream of joining the NYPD. He’s quickly risen through the ranks and is now an NYPD Lieutenant. I am honored to work alongside him. Tommy this ones for you bud!

Chief Maddrey has Brownsville lit and is currently the judge at this epic dance battle!🔥

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit my good friend Chris at his Carwash💦. As I pulled up I immediately noticed that Chris, the owner, was outside greeting motorists as they pulled up in their vehicles. I complimented him on leading by example and not being afraid to roll up his sleeves and work in the trenches alongside his staff. Chris didn’t have to do this... he could’ve easily been in a nice air conditioned office, sitting behind his desk, especially given the fact that it was 90 degrees outside😥 . He explained to me that sometimes, if the weather gets too hot and unbearable, he’ll close the car wash early because he feels bad for the workers all the while still paying them for a full days work. He also said that he makes it a point every morning to greet each member of his staff with a handshake, a hug and a smile 🙌🏼 . I say all of that to say this... No matter how high up you get in your organization due to promotion or how high you get up in the Police Department—— REMAIN HUMBLE. Your rank or title means nothing if you’re not treating the people under you with dignity and respect. The same people you are supervising may one day be the ones offering you a helping hand. Treat people the way you want to be treated and you’ll see how they will surpass your working expectations. Just be kind to people... it’s that simple ♻️ . Thank you Chris for your hospitality and for being an awesome LEADER! Please say hello to the family for me 🙏🏼

READ THIS 👇🏼 . “It’s interesting to me that the most successful & wealthy people I know are the ones who treat others the best... . Where the people out there faking it are the ones treating people like crap. . Coincidence? Absolutely not. . Every single time you meet or interact with someone...no matter who they are you have a choice. . You can choose to make them feel important & better about themselves. . Or . You can be like 99% of the world and be indifferent...or worse negative. . What most of you fail to understand is that by making people feel important and better about themselves you are actually creating tremendous long term value in yourself over the long run. . Doesn’t matter if you own a business or are an employee...It pays VERY WELL for people to think highly of you and respect you for how you treat them. . Most people mess this up because they only treat people well when they think they have something to gain. . But the truth is you never know who is going to come back around in your life. . I could one day be working for these two gentlemen in this picture. Their perception of me in this interaction could have been my first interview. It could literally make me or break me one day. I never lose sight of that. . So if you want to truly build a personal brand, a following & successful career instead of just being “Mr Nice & Respectful” online...trying being “Mr Nice & Respectful” 24/7/365. . If people aren’t ecstatic to see you when you walk into a room...you have work to do. . You never know how your life is gonna go and being nice & respectful to everyone you meet is ALWAYS a good business strategy.... . ....AND MORE IMPORTANTLY IT’S JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO.” . @andyfrisella

I’ll start with this: Do not let the amount of followers you have define you. Would you treat someone differently because they are more or less popular than you? Would you treat someone different because they have more or less money than you or are more or less successful? The answer for me will always be NO. I would never treat anyone different because of their social or economic status. I just love with no questions asked, no judging, no hidden agenda or intentions. I just love. Everyone is human to me. Everyone deserves a chance. Everyone has a story to tell and I’m just GRATEFUL that I have 9k of you to share mine with!🙌🏼 . Always remember that we are all HUMAN. We all have failed time and time again. We have all been through painful situations where you can’t seem to find a way out but that’s what makes life so beautiful. The struggle, the pain, the worrying, the sleepless nights but more importantly the REDEMPTION! . When I started this page it was at the peak of police involved shootings. I felt that a line had been drawn in the sand and everyone I knew was taking sides. I refused to do that and instead created this page to show people that cops are human and are doing great work out there everyday, that the majority of us care and most importantly that you don’t have to choose a side. Do we have bad apples? Absolutely! Every field has some... Are they the majority? Absolutely NOT! As a kid who grew up in a rough neighborhood, I could relate to the tension that had been building for decades but I also know that we are leaps and bounds from where we used to be. We need to stop stereotyping and putting people in a specific box due to their career choice, social or economic status📦 . I will end it with this: TRUST GOD! LOVE MORE. God will remain by your side through it all. and a constant Stay steadfast and know that “Thy will be done”. Zero followers or a million, I’m 💯 percent sure that I’ll never be alone as long I have love and God in my life ❤️

A few weeks ago I attended a 1 day training at the Police Academy in College Point. As I was exiting the cafeteria I was stopped by two recruits who recognized me and introduced themselves. They said they had been following me for awhile on instagram and we proceeded to chat it up for a few. I left that encounter feeling a sense of gratitude... gratitude because of the position I’ve been placed in and the platform I have in which I’m able to make positive impacts on future police officers 💯 . I honestly can’t describe the feeling I get when a new recruit approaches me and says that I inspired them in some way, shape or form. All I can say is that it brings me great joy to know I have influenced their career and that they’ll be headed for the street with a different mindset🙏🏼 Thank you @john_przybyszewski and @iam.elon for stopping me that day to say hello. I just want you to know that you’ve gained a new “follower” in me 🙌🏼 The remarkable work you’ve already done as an auxiliary officer is something to admire and it just shows that @nypdrecruit is doing a great job of hiring great people! . God bless you and I wish you much success in your career! See you right before graduation 👮🏻‍♂️👮🏽‍♂️

Continue to whisper those sweet nothings into your partners ear just like you did when you first started dating. Continue to make them blush. Continue to stay young and laugh uncontrollably because life isn’t that serious. Continue to grow. Continue to build. Continue to evolve. Continue to date just like day 1. Bring that same energy every single day! . Relationships should never get old or make you feel like you’re stuck. You should get excited about the future and all of the blessings God has in store for you. One thing is for sure... I know true love because of you. You rescued me baby girl and I will never let you forget that. I got you. I got US 💯 💍

Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about the places God has placed me in. I’m not a millionaire, I don’t have a mansion or exotic cars or endless amounts of vacations etc etc etc... but what I do have is something money can’t buy. I have my beautiful wife & children, an amazing support system, a career that I love, my full health and a hunger to love more. I’ve also been blessed with unique opportunities like this one. Seeing the expression on Lil Claude’s face as his father walked on stage, surprising him at graduation was priceless 🙌🏼 . As I stated in an earlier post, thanks to @missraychel for inviting me to present in front of her class. I immediately connected with Claude because of his interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement. I promised to be at their 5th grade graduation & to my surprise I was asked to be the guest speaker. After my speech I asked Claude to join me on stage where I presented him with an official NYPD hat & patch. I knew he hadn’t seen his Dad for 6 months due to his deployment in the Navy but I also knew that his Dad had flown in the night before in order to surprise him on this big day! As Claude tried on his new hat I asked the surprise visitor to come on stage & the rest is history. As the tears streamed down lil Claude’s face I literally had to fight back my tears!!! Make sure you grab some tissues... you’re definitely gonna need them! 😭 . Earlier I said this job has provided me with some pretty unique experiences and this day was no different... New York City based rapper @casanova_2x was also in attendance & got to hear my testimony. It was pretty cool to have a celebrity in the audience, not because of his fame but because of the platform we all share. We all have a voice, a story, a testimony & I truly believe one day cops & celebrities will join forces to end the hate. To end the violence & to add more love into this world. Until then I will continue on my God given path to spread more love.... it’s the Brooklyn way 🌃❤️ @usnavy @misssharri @leo.hearted @nypd @vegas_jones @johnnymarines @rocnation @kobymjones @humankindvideos @realcarlosgomez @dagonyc @humancitizens @kreg_with_a_k @officerstewart @bookem_382

As you know... a few posts ago I made a bold request in order for me to release Claude’s Military Dad surprise video (777 likes)... It’s taken longer than I anticipated so I’ve decided to add a few more pictures and make a simpler more feasible request ☺️ If we get to 20 comments on this post (1 per person) than the request I will no longer hold the video hostage 😩😂... Ready? Set..... comment!

@nypd ・・・ “SOMETIMES A HUG IS IN ORDER Last year Lieutenant Mike Almonte from Patrol Borough Brooklyn North met AJ. The two quickly hit it off during a pick-up basketball game in Brooklyn’s Marcy Playground and have kept in touch ever since with Lt. Almonte guiding AJ to do well in school and life. Recently, Lt. Almonte met AJ’s dad for the first time.”❤️ . This is one of those videos that will NEVER get old. I’m glad my partner knew the back story to this and had the presence of mind to record the moment I met AJ’s dad, Antwan, for the 1st time. Our hug was so genuine and as fathers, the emotion running through our bodies due to the mutual respect was overwhelming. That summer (2016).. me, Antwan and Jamel Thomas met up every week at Marcy and played ball with the kids from the community. It’s probably one of the most rewarding years of my career. We grew so close that they were in attendance at my wedding. Love is Love! Thankful you guys came into my life 🙏🏼 @flyboilyfestyle @jamel530 . Feel free to repost if you want... God knows the internet could use more positivity 🙏🏼

Yesterday I posted about Claude’s amazing graduation surprise and it seems as if most of you had tears streaming down your faces before even seeing the video😭. This is what LOVE does. Love shouldn’t be contained. LOVE brings people together and stirs up emotion inside of us. LOVE is a beautiful thing and should be shared way more. You will often hear me say “God is LOVE and LOVE is God”. I firmly believe in that statement... I honestly believe that wherever there is Love there is God ❤️ . Being on stage and witnessing Claude’s eyes swell up with tears, seeing his Dad for the first time in six months had me fighting back tears while in full uniform 😩. With that said, I’ll be holding this video hostage until we reach 777 likes on this photo 😳 I’ve never done something like this before and I know it’s a super bold ask but I thought it would be fun and interesting to see if we get there! This video is something special and I can’t wait to share it with y’all 🙏🏼 . Ready, set, Goooooooo! (Tag two friends that could use a good ugly cry face 😂) ⚓️

A few months ago I was asked by @missraychel to do a presentation in front of her 5th grade class. She was having some behavioral issues in her class, nothing major, and wanted them to hear an outside source speak some words of encouragement into them. I gladly accepted her offer and at the end of the presentation all the kids were asking me if I would be at their 5th grade graduation. I made them promise me that they would improve on their behavior and in turn I promised them I would show up. I even made them sign a contract 😂📝 . One of the kids stood out amongst the rest and his name is Claude. From the very beginning I could tell I had his full attention and at the end of my presentation it came as no surprise who’s hand went straight in the air when I asked “Who in here wants to become a police officer?”. A few months later I made good on my promise and to my surprise I was invited as a guest speaker 🙏🏼😭 Claude’s father is in the military and had been deployed since December. Claude had no idea his father was in attendance and during my speech I asked Claude to come up on stage. I presented him with an @nypd hat and patch and then surprised him by bringing his dad on stage. All the feels, all the chills, all the tears, all in one moment ❤️ . Would you guys like to see the video!?!
