Why do we fight so hard against change and growth? Some of the most epic things we could ever discover about ourselves are found during struggle, outside our comfort zones and when we choose to challenge ourselves. So if so much greatness and growth can be accomplished when we struggle, and push ourselves, then why do we fight it? Fall in love with discomfort. Grow familiar with struggle. Excellence cannot be achieved without it. Lens | @wolfs__spirit
This was my post 25 day vacay shape! Excited to get my abs back and see what else I can accomplish in the next 25 days! Did you take a rest day for today or grind? If you rested, let’s get ready to grind Monday!
Hope you’re all having an awesome day!Showing some smiles because I’m so grateful for all the love, support, kind comments and DMs I get everyday! I love you guys and I’m so happy I get to inspire and motivate y’all to keep living the fit life!
WANT A TINY WAIST? Train Back & Shoulders! One key way to make the waist appear smaller is to develop a strong upper back and defined rear delts. These two workouts target the muscles to grow and tone the upper body so that you can develop that V-taper where the waist starts to look tinier and tinier in comparison. 1) 4X15-20 seated V-rope cable pull - squat above or at parallel - chest up, abs tight, back straight - pull and pause at full contraction (imagine pinching your back muscles together to cover your spine) 2) 4X15-20 Standing Lat Pushdowns - keep chest up, abs tight, back straight - arms full extended, no bend in elbow - go up in weight each set as tolerated Song: @camelphatmusic “Panic Room”
Back in the US and ready to grind! Current Goal: tighten up in the next 6 weeks. If you don’t set rigid goals with firm time frames, you are way more likely to lose focus, motivation and stall your progress. Even if you don’t have a specific reason, set goals for yourself in 4-6 weeks time frames so that you can stay on track. If you give yourself “a couple months” to reach a goal, the urgency goes away, along with the focus and determination. So excited to do my challenge with my clients starting today to stay focused and encourage one another each week! Let’s grind! :) head to toe in: @prettylittlething

TAG A FRIEND who needs motivation! 🙌🏼 Let's be real for a second, none of this perfect fitness model crap 😂 We're all human, we all make mistakes from time to time & we all have our moments - myself including 🙈 I often get emails from people saying they are too embarrassed to hit the gym or feel intimidated or etc – don't be! We all had to start somewhere & even us "fitness models" make dumbass mistakes from time to time. Learn from them, laugh at the growing pains & keep pushing forward. 😘 ••• Video 1: Back squatting 135lbs about 5 years ago, let the bar roll onto my neck, elbows came up tilting me even more forward as I drove up with my butt... The result is a face plant (100% ok after the fact) Oddly enough this is a weight I've done a few times prior without issue hence no spotter 🙈 This is now my warmup weight💪🏽 ••• Video 2: Doing a Crossfit WOD few years ago, kipping pull-ups with gloves on was a bad decision - bar slipped out of my hands - looks scary but I lucked out & walking away without any injury🙊 ••• Video 3: The right way to dump a failed squat 😏 I'm too short & squat lower than the safety bars so I have to step out - this time I thought I had 1 more in me in the set but was wrong. Shoot hips forward & let bar fall off your back 🤗 ••• Video 4: Making a fun ab workout video after a full body workout sometimes isn't the best of ideas - result: comical 😂 ••• Video 5: Form is everything - it's always the little things that make the biggest difference. Trying to rip the bar off the ground isn't as nearly as effective as having the proper technique 🤔 ••• In closing, never fear failure or looking silly from time to time - it happens to everyone! I have yet to meet a fitness model that hasn't made an ass out of herself at some point 😂
