This is what I have to say to the end of summer... 😝I’ve spent my summer cultivating 5 daily habits that have completely changed how I manage my anxiety and perceive happiness. These quick, easy habits are incredibly simple and surprisingly effective. This simple daily routine has lifted my mood and helped me ride the waves of the changes that have been pummeling me all summer long. 1. Every day I write 3 new things I’m grateful for and why. 2. I write a quick journal entry about a positive experience from the day before. 3. I spend 10-20 minutes practicing mindful meditation. I like to use the @calm app. 4. Every day I reach out to a friend, family member, or someone important in my life. I write them a text or an email describing with just a few short lines how much their relationship means to me. 5. 15 minutes of cardio every day. Sadly enough this is the hardest one for me. That’s all there’s to it. ***The effectiveness of these habits has been proven through scientific research.
