Putting in that work ... @louisph45 beat my ass in a dueling tree about 3 weeks ago. Pissed me off. Now pistol is a focus again 🤣🤣. Working on lateral movements, tracking sights, and throttle control. Shooting on the move is fun and definitely the most challenging part of shooting but mediocracy is for cowards. DYNAMIC DEFENSE ROMEO REVIEW @dynamic_defense_inc I recently had the pleasure of trying out an upper built with one of @dynamic_defense_inc 16in Romeo barrels. What makes this barrel different is it is a rifle length gas system on a 16in barrel. Now typically you won’t see rifle length gas systems on 16in barrels, instead you will see carbine or mid length gas systems. The purpose behind this is @dynamic_defense_inc sought out to produce a highly accurate barrel that recoiled very softly. It’s no surprise, the softer the recoil, the longer you can shoot a gun comfortably and the faster you can shoot it accurately. Well let me tell you, @dynamic_defense_inc accomplished both of these goals. In my video you can see how soft the rifle cycles followed by a couple groups that were shot with the barrel. In this test, the first group was shot by a female shooter (who didn’t make the video) that has very little experience behind a rifle. This speaks volumes to the performance of the barrel. With its soft shooting characteristics she was able to shoot a sub moa group (only possible if you feel comfortable behind a rifle). The second group is one of my groups measuring about .25 moa. Ammo that was used was ppu 75gr match. On this build the barrel was paired with a @slrrifleworks adjustable gas block. After shooting the rifle unsuppressed I threw the can on and turned down the gas setting (due to increased gas pressure from the suppressor). You will see the mag and what the follower looks like after shooting approx 100rds suppressed (this was a new mag). For those of you who know about suppressors the mags are typically filthy at this point. Additionally the 4150 steel is melonite coated so not only is the barrel rust resistant, however, the barrel performs better under heat compared to a stainless barrel meaning tighter groups. This is huge with suppressors. I highly recommend checking out @dynamic_defense_inc as they make a killer barrel, have a lifetime no bullshit warranty, and are good people. Drop any questions below 🤙🏼🤙🏼
It doesn’t come over night or in a package shipped to your door. You have to train and run your gear to be able to effectively use it.
Worked more shooting on the move today with @plead.the.2nd (starting at 25yds moving to 15yds). Shooting @tatargets A zone steel really makes me slow things up and make good hits. Still along way to go but getting better. One big issue I fight is my natural desire to go fast. I’m a lot better with a rifle so I try to mimic that pace with a pistol. Gotta walk before you can run. The good thing about training a zone is moving back to silhouettes or c zone speed seems way easier. (You tell by my reaction at the end I wasn’t pleased 🤣) more work moving weak side to come.
