Pisces Mother Moon (Queen of Cups) greets us here during Virgo Season to get us out of our bodies and minds, and into the depths of Spirit. Reflect on the first half of the cycle. What seeds did you plant back on the Pisces New Moon (March 17)? . This Pisces Full Moon invites us to stop working so hard on our harvest, and remember just how far we’ve come. Deep surrender and release. Trust that all is well. Breathe into Spirit all around you. Breathe into Spirit in your clothes. Your stones. Your pillows. And your bones. You can be of service by simply communing with your breath. . Yes child! Sun is in Beyoncé (Queen of Pentacles; Virgo). And Moon is in Erykah Badu (Queen of Cups; Pisces). Feel into the Badu vibes this Sunday. Allow yourself to daydream. Read poetry. Burn incense. Drinks lots of water. Get lots of sleep. This will lay the spiritual foundations for soul-centered Virgo’s sacred ability to bring a holistic union of body, mind, and soul. This is what brings about the true offering, integrated health.

Viola Davis as ‘Strength’ in the tarot. 🔊🆙 . I’m so stoked to announce a new collaboration! Wolf Marnell (@tarotwolf) creates beautiful tarot collages that deepen our connection to the archetypes by utilizing cultural figures. This is very similar to the work I’ve been doing with astrology in a new ‘Queen of the Zodiac’ series on my podcast @cosmic.cousins. So we’ve decided to join forces!! Here’s our first one! . . Viola Davis @violadavis was just named ‘Queen of Leo’ by the listeners on the podcast. ‘Strength’ in the tarot represents the higher-octave of Leo. By tuning into Viola’s spirit, we can feel into the energy of this card. . When ‘Strength’ shows up in a tarot reading, it reminds us to be be gentle with our emotions + desires. When we fully listen to their calling, we create space for our intuition to emerge. ‘Strength’ encourages us to answer the roar of our inner-lion with a brave heart. And this is exactly what Viola embodies through her life and work as an actress and activist. . With deep guttural primal expression, Viola gives voice and power to ordinary heroes not normally given the spotlight. She exudes a deep confidence through instinctive storytelling that awakens camaraderie within the collective. She’s also known for heart-felt sizzling speeches that promotes diversity and redefines beauty. She leads with gentle authority and has transformed from a life of poverty to being the first Black person to ever win the Triple Crown of Acting (Emmy, Tony, and Academy Award). Accompanying this image is the audio from her Emmy acceptance speech in 2015. . If you’d like to learn more about Viola and how she embodies Leo, tune into the latest episode of @cosmic.cousins.in iTunes, “Season 4: Episode 1.” Link in bio! . More to come!!

Leo Rising Heidi Rose Robbins (@heidiroserobbins)exudes the radiance and warmth of the in the tarot (which is why I brought her sunflowers). She hosts one of my favorite podcasts (a podcast of astrology, poetry, inspiration, and very good company). So when she asked me to be on her show, I felt so excited and honored, but also immediately comforted and at home in her presence. I think she encapsulates this feeling through words, as she titled this episode “my new old friend.” . . What a gift it is to share a common vocabulary with another human! And we share this on more than one level: soul-centered astrology, embodied health, and poetry. . . In our conversation we swoon over our mutual love of @reginaspektor and how Regina is a perfect example of the Aquarius/Pisces cusp. We go in deep on the Leo-Aquarius Polar Energy, Mercury in Pisces, Progressed Astrology, Black Moon Lilith, Eris, and Water Grand Trines. . . Heidi also explains how she sees my Aquarius energy expressing itself through astrology, and Virgo through tarot. She says, “When I think of tarot, I think very much of Virgo, the priestess energy and practices that connect us to the Divine.” Light bulbs went off for me and I immediately thought of Virgo Rising Tarot High Priestess @wildsoulhealing (who along with @artofloving introduced me to Heidi). . . And then amongst all of our high-vibe astro talk, Heidi also selected three gorgeous poems that we read and discuss. It’s a super heartfelt convo and an experience I will always cherish in my heart. (And special thanks to Heidi’s production team @karinleeschneider and @laurentisza for hanging out, holding space and laughing with us). . . Have you ever pulled a tarot card and burst out into tears? That happened unexpectedly this morning as I pulled the 6 of Cups at my childhood home. . About 6 weeks ago my dad had an accident which left him in an induced coma with a traumatic head injury. Fortunately, I work from home and was able to come back for the month to be of support to my family during the rehabilitation process. Over the past few weeks my dad’s gone from being unresponsive and hooked up to a machine, to now back home and almost ready to walk without a walker. . The 6 of Cups shows up when you find yourself coming up against a similar scenario to a time when you might not have fully trusted your instincts in the past. It offers an opportunity to reconcile, forgive, and make peace with this pattern. Now is a time to claim authority of your right to learn from the past, to step up more fully into your newly evolved self, and to make empowered decisions that guide you towards intergenerational healing. . The 6 of Cups is giving us the feels, and in a summer full of Retrogrades, a Water Grand Trine, and Eclipse Season, I am wishing for you extra time to process all your emotions. . . If you’d like support in that process, I’m accepting applications for both tarot + astrology mentorship immersion’s for this Fall ‘18. I’m taking off for Los Angeles now, and will be in NYC at the end of the month with workshop and retreat offerings. All these links are listed on my LinkTree. Be well!

Thanks for having me on the show! ・・・ I've had many mentors and teachers over the years that have helped me grow and expand, trust and love. Jeff Hinshaw, aka @brooklyntarot aka @cosmic.cousins aka Trash Canyon is one of those special teachers. I'm so very honored to have him on this week to talk about soul-centered astrology, tarot, chakra meditations as healing practices, podcasting as a tool for healing work, and much more.⠀ ⠀ Jeff is a true Aquarian in his quest to bring immense amounts of healing to our world. One of the ways he does that is through his own astrology centered podcast, Cosmic Cousins. This week on his show, in light of the recent suicides, and feeling moved by more people opening up talking about their depression, Jeff felt inspired to add to the conversation by giving others a platform to share openly and honestly about their experiences with depression through the lens of their astrological sign. He has 13 special guests on the show: one person for each astrological sign, and an extra person for those moving through Saturn Return. I highly recommend you subscribe and take a listen.⠀ ⠀ Thanks Jeff for being a guiding light in the dark for so many of us. XO⠀ 〰️〰️〰️〰️⠀

Full Moon in Scorpio. . . So I’ve been hearing all this hype about , so I finally just watched the first episode. I started crying before it even got to the part where one might cry. I think bc it’s southern backdrop reminded me of my family and where I grew up. And the healing still needed to take place in our country. But this is the Scorpio Full Moon. Feeling into the deep wells of emotions, sifting through old ancestral and familial debris, all mixed in with deep gratitude and sorrow for this human experience. . . Know this. There is nothing to manifest at this time except loving attention with your emotions. There is no intention to set except the intention to wish well for others. The soul-centered Scorpio tunes into desires and emotions and transforms them into healing. The 9 of Cups shows up as a symbol of transition and transformation. The little frog on the water’s edge reminds us of the world of emotions and feminine energies, as well as the process of cleansing, whether it’s physical, emotional, spiritual or energetic. Whatever it is you’re feeling into today, simply allow for it. Breathe into it. Let it clear what it will. And trust that the transformation is already well under way. . . I released an episode this week on the Scorpio Full Moon. Check it out at @astrology.cousins. . . And another incredible offering I’m beyond excited about is . ‘Soul Crush’ is a show about spirituality and sexuality. It premieres tonight at 8pm EST/5pm PST. It’s hosted by @artofloving, who I helped and supported during the launching of this show. I hope you check it out. Sending you love!

The Sword has the power to both separate and unite. When the Ace of Swords shows itself, it acts as a powerful invitation for union. And it encourages you to stand bold in your Truth. . . If you're unsure exactly what "truth" is, it's quite simple. Truth is that which unites or connects. You can think of it as another word for union. . . Take a moment to connect with a situation or relationship in your life that may feel difficult. Now consider it through the lens of this mantra, "I choose to focus on what connects us, not what separates us." Say it to yourself, preferably out loud. Notice where in your body or mind you resist these words. Now imagine you're holding a sword straight up to the sky, as a symbol for peace. Say the mantra again, "I choose to focus on what connects us, not what separates us." Open yourself up to new insight in regards to your situation. . Photos by: @rsd.photo

In the last 9 months, I’ve gone from releasing all my belongings in New York City, to living in a tent for trade in the jungle of Hawai’i, to now spending more money on rent than I ever have in my life in Los Angeles. . . It’s a lot to take in. This new chapter feels like moving from the realm of the Fool (free of belonging and worry, gleefully stepping off the side of a cliff), to instead of free falling, getting caught up in a vine, into the suspension of the Hanged Man. . . The Hanged Man shows himself to me during times when I’m being asked to allow the dust to settle. To ponder existence, “How did I end up here?” From all of my movement, I’m now left to sit with all of the old habits, beliefs, fears, and mental dramas that the sedentary life presented before. . . But as I turned this card, I knew instantly the Hanged Man wasn’t just for me. He’s very in alignment for us all right now, as we move through the last few days of Mercury Retrograde. Move slow and methodical this week. No need for major decisions. If you're feeling extra sensitive, close your eyes and breathe into the heart. Through inaction, you allow the mind to settle, so that you may be gifted with an enlightening new perspective. Be easy on yourself. . . New Moon in Aries + Mercury goes direct on Sunday, April 15. . . Season 3 of Cosmic Cousins (@astrology.cousins) airs in a week, on Wednesday, April 18 at 6pm EST. There’s lots of exciting things in store. Get into it!

LIBRA FULL MOON . First, honor your Self. Then, honor the Other. . Breathe into your Third Eye Center (lunar energy), then into the lower-back (Libra). Take deep nourishing inhales into this part of the body over the weekend. Libra energy is incredibly generous, so you can think, “bending over backward.” When you take care of other's first, it can manifest as lower back pain and prevent you from standing up straight in your power. Full Moon in Libra reminds us that soul growth will manifest as you accept the invitation of the Aries Sun to stay true to your sense of Self within your one-on-one relationships. . . Take extra time to ground down into your personal identity throughout the weekend. Say to yourself, “I am strong. I am beautiful. I am lovely. I am gold.” Breathe these words in. Making this connection is super important, as the Full Moon’s effects on the water may bring up strong subconscious Librarian feelings. . On one end, this could spin you into old patterns around co-dependency, the need for approval, or projections on to others. On the other scale, this could teeter you into an over-bearing, manipulative, and jealous version of yourself. And we don’t want that! . So be super gentle with yourself. This is a beautiful time to practice forgiveness with your self in regards to relationships that are no longer. It’s a time to find balance between your masculine and feminine qualities. You can look to your Venus and Mars sign in your chart, and journal about how you bring harmony between these energies. And most definitely, this Full Moon in Libra, in the heart of Aries season, is a time to celebrate your sense of Self, while also honoring the relationships that make you being you, possible. So be open to new relationships, especially around romance, reach out to your partner, best friend, co-worker, or collaborator, whoever it is that holds space for, refills your cup, and offers you the balance you need, to be the radical pioneer that you are! . MERCURY RETROGRADE MEDITATION INSPIRES BUSINESS SUCCESS (March 22-April 15). . By reflecting on these cards, it tells us to pull back the reigns on our creative ambition, and work with the resources we already have around us. By tilling the soil, planting your feet, and taking a wider approach, you will reap benefits of a plentiful crop in the seasons to come. . When Mercury goes Rx, it manifests in different ways depending on the Sun Season we are moving through. Right now, the Sun is in Aries, invites us to strike the match of our individuality through creative projects and ambition. So, how might this Rx slow us down in a season so amped w/ personal exertion? . To meditate on this, use the (Aries) and the (Mercury) in reverse (Rx). . Ask yourself before big decisions: Am I remembering to take a deep breath before taking off? . We can deepen our understanding of this transit by looking to Mars, Aries’ ruling planet. Mars is in Capricorn. (Hardworking, resourceful, big picture, rules over knees). This inspires a time of channeling the cardinal fire energy of the Knight of Wands into big picture production. With this Rx it invites us to reestablish, reorganize, and reimplement procedures into our life to expand our public offerings. To meditate on this, use the (Capricorn) and the (Mars). . In my own life, I plan to reorganize files, reestablish online offerings, reimplement my newsletters, and restructure my podcast @astrology.cousins. . In what ways are you slowing down and restructuring? . To learn more, sign-up for my newsletter, click the LinkTree on my bio.

New Moon in Pisces is a time to honor the co-collaboration you share with spirit and universal consciousness. To meditate on this transit, you can visualize the Queen of Cups (Pisces Moon) in the realm of The Moon (Pisces Season). What comes to me, is despite the illusion of separation, and the wild, ancestral energy that’s surrounding you, can you bring your focus back towards the love you are cultivating in your life (as symbolized by the cup)? Can you sense into the divinity of your nature? Today, tonight, this weekend, pay attention to the many synchronisities in your life. Tap into the mysteriousness of it all. Surrender yourself up in devotion to your highest expression of compassion. Offer up forgiveness to all things. Release whatever is outdated and stuck in fear and illusion. The ultimate truth for you at this time is that you are a manifestation of pure love. And within this truth, if you can let go enough to fully accept her into your life, you will find something new, deep inside of you waiting to be set free. Now is the time for you to dream new realizations into being for yourself, to create an upgraded reality for your new year, this new cycle, as we close out Eclipse Season, and prepare for the Spring Equinox next week. If life feels uncertain, hang out with the mystery of it all. Know that the world around you is a manifestation of what you are dreaming into being with each new breath. If you dream with the intention of bringing peace to your life and to others, this Pisces New Moon is sure to offer a potent dose of soul re-alignment. Breathe in this new peace. Exhale with faith and trust that you are supported by a loving force. If there are people in your life who have lost a loved one this last year, now is a time to reach out and reconnect with them. They may be feeling deeply emotional, and could use a reminder of compassion and love through your kindness. Happy New Moon! Happy Virgo Full Moon! To visualize this transit, you can imagine the Queen of Pentacles (Virgo) living in the realm of The Moon Card (Pisces). This reminds us the importance of grounding down over the coming days. Pisces is a very emotional + big picture energy, that can have us spinning out of control, lost in fantasy, and leaving our bodies. So this Virgo Full Moon reminds us to focus on the little details, our health, and our rituals. So as you breathe into your body, tune into your belly (the body part Virgo rules over). Check in with your digestive system. Are you feeding yourself enough? Are you eating nourishing food? . . Pisces season could be a time where, Low Tide, we starve ourselves of physical nourishment. Or High Tide, we over indulge ourselves, and maybe through substances or even drugs. These are ways, both the deprivation and overindulgence, to deny our emotions. And Virgo asks us to feel into our health. Which often, it is very much linked to our emotional experience. So for me in my life, it’s been really interesting. I have experienced heart burn for the first time ever in my life this week. I looked up in Louise Hay’s, “You Can Heal Your Life” what ‘heart burn’ means…and besides it meaning acid reflux and that I should prob be eating more greens, on a psycho-spiritual level she indicates “clutching fear.” . . We all might be feeling into Fear right now. This is a stuck emotion for Pisces season. Fear of the Unknown, the end of a cycle, of being here on Earth. The new thought pattern she offered is “I breath freely and fully. I am safe and trust the process of life.” So as we breathe into our bodies, and our Virgo bellies, say this to yourself. . . If you’d like to learn more about this Virgo Full Moon, check out the latest episode of my podcast Cosmic Cousins. Link is on the IG @astrology.cousins
