This week is probably one of the craziest weeks of my life! I'm currently writing, rewriting, and memorizing my Commencement speech, memorizing and filming POP Pilates choreography for our new quarterly release, then my parents are coming for the weekend for a family reunion, I'm taking my mom dress shopping for the wedding, and then I jet off to NYC for a tradeshow before the weekend even ends! . Phew! . Sounds like a lot, but don't worry about me. I am super calm and actually just really excited. How?? I keep myself collected because I remind myself of the following things. . 1. Take it one step at a time and it will all get done.
2. Whether you worry or not, it's still gonna happen. So just don't worry.
3. Every opportunity that comes to me is a blessing. .

Happy Mother’s Day to our mommy! Thank you for showing me and @jackelynho how to be strong, independent, persistent, and fearless women. Growing up, you gave us everything we needed to thrive into who we are today. But the most essential thing you taught us was the importance of kindness and selflessness. I am grateful for the life and the solid foundation you gave us. You are an inspiration mommy! 💕 PS: The joys of wearing a 👙 as a kid. Summer wasn’t about having a “bikini body” - it was about going in the pool and spending time with your friends! A time when you didn’t care about rolls, muffintops, cellulite and waist size. Let’s get back to that guys. Let’s teach our daughters this as we sculpt the next generation of women.

I’m so glad you guys are digging these weightlifting routines! I did this routine this morning and I call it “Leggy Arms”! Even though there’s no “traditional” cardio, I was SWEATING! 💦 The weighted squats, lunges, and clean & presses are 👊. 4 rounds. 45 sec on, 15 sec rest. . 1️⃣ Squats, 40 lbs 2️⃣ Single Legged Row, 40 lbs 3️⃣ Alternating Lunges, 40 lbs 4️⃣ Bicep Curls to Overhead Press, 15 lbs 5️⃣ Side Lunge, 40 lbs 6️⃣ Overhead Triceps, 15 lbs 7️⃣ Clean & Press, 40 lbs . Of course adjust the weights to what makes sense for you! !?

Ok so I think we all know about fat shaming and skinny shaming. But have you ever been “weightloss shamed?” I didn’t even really know this was a thing until I started getting some negative comments about how my Bridal Bootcamp Series was not body positive because I was making brides feel bad. Apparently I was making brides feel like they HAD TO work out before their wedding. . Umm. . Maybe it’s not obvious, but let me make it clear: First, this is a choice. I’m not forcing anyone to do anything. It’s free content. So if you don’t like it, don’t do it! Simple. . Secondly, if you think that working out is the “worst” thing you could do before your wedding because it’s gonna make you look different...hmm why don’t you also NOT get a new dress and NOT get your hair and makeup professionally done? The point is - it’s a special day and you’re going to do special things to feel better and look more confident anyway! . Look, I adore the body positive movement. But sometimes, when something becomes too popular, people take the term, twist it and abuse it. Who said you can’t be body positive WHILE transforming your body at the same time? A lot of you guys have been asking for my gym routine so here it is! I worked arms 💪 and legs 👟 and now I am SO SORE OMG! I did 4 rounds of the below. 45 sec on, 15 sec rest. . 1️⃣ Goblet Squats, 30 lbs 2️⃣ Shoulder Presses, 15 lbs 3️⃣ Plié Hops 4️⃣ Bent Over Flys, 12.5 lbs 5️⃣ Burpees 6️⃣ Tricep Pulses, 7.5 lbs 7️⃣ Lunge Squats . Also for those of you wondering if you “have to” lift weights in order to get fit, the answer is NO! I switch up my workouts all the time when I get bored. I love mixing it up between @poppilatesofficial, dancing, weight lifting, stairmaster, hiking, hot yoga. So many options. But right now I’m in a weights phase which I haven’t been in “the mood” for since like 2012! So I’m excited to show you my routines! Oh and be sure to adjust the weight to what’s best for you!
