@bookfairiesworldwide with @get_repost ・・・ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. We would like to declare our THIRD Day of Reading on Sunday 1st July. We have had two amazing offline days and hearing from everyone who enjoyed them is just incredible. People around the world come together to read 💚 What does this mean? A day of reading is a chance to put down your phone, log off social media stuff and just... read. Read that book you've hit a wall with. Read that book that's been on the shelf for months. Read that book you bought yesterday. Read that book you've told everyone you've already read. Whatever it is, we are celebrating a whole day offline with a book. 📚 How can I get involved? It's pretty easy. Just pick up a book and read. All day. Or at least part of the day. We want you to spend a good few hours losing yourself in another world. And yes it is a little selfish... as that is exactly what we want to do too 😊 What can I do to prepare? Choose a book! Then? Tell everyone you're celebrating the Day of Reading with The Book Fairies and you might be a little quiet. You can even tell us which book you've chosen by commenting below or posting with BEFORE Sunday 👍

To celebrate copies of Dead man walking by Sharon Bolton, This must be the place by Maggie O’Farrell, Disney’s Mirror Mirror the movie novel and Lara the Black Cat fairy from the Rainbow Magic series have been dropped around Bournemouth Beach and Pier. Did you pick up a copy? 💚

A copy of Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson took a ride on the Observation Wheel today at Bournemouth Beach 💚 about the book: Fun, feel-good chick lit for girls. This is the perfect warm, laid-back summer read from a talented new American author. More juicy than fine, more sexy than delicate, Murphy's good fun – but she's no angel. At school, Leeda is treated like a queen. She's loved by just about everyone – except her mom. Living in an orchard and being homeschooled, Birdie has the social prowess of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's the summer holidays and three girls meet picking peaches – but they REALLY don't get on; Murphy's too cool, Leeda's too posh and Birdie's so shy she can't even speak to guys, especially good-looking ones. Then when Leeda's boyfriend Rex turns up and Enrico the Mexican takes a shine to Birdie, the girls find plenty to talk about – and their summer really starts to hot up... It’s going to be a juicy summer

Screaming on the rollercoasters, watching the animals in awe and conquering our fears @chessingtonworldofadventures, leaving books while we are at it. Copies of Spy dog by Andrew Cope and Bethany the Ballet Fairy are hoping to be found by a fellow thrill-seeker!

A gorgeous day for an ice-cream by the sea and maybe a bit of reading. A copy of The Shore by Sara Taylor is waiting on a bench in East Wittering 💚 about the book: SHORTLISTED FOR THE GUARDIAN FIRST BOOK AWARD 2015 SHORTLISTED FOR THE SUNDAY TIMES/PETERS FRASER & DUNLOP YOUNG WRITER OF THE YEAR AWARD LONGLISTED FOR THE BAILEYS WOMEN'S PRIZE FOR FICTION 2015 The Shore. A collection of small islands sticking out from the coast of Virginia into the Atlantic Ocean that has been home to generations of fierce and resilient women. Sanctuary to some but nightmare to others, it’s a place they’ve inhabited, fled, and returned to for hundreds of years. From a brave girl’s determination to protect her younger sister as methamphetamine ravages their family, to a lesson in summoning storm clouds to help end a drought, these women struggle against domestic violence, savage wilderness, and the corrosive effects of poverty and addiction to secure a sense of well-being for themselves and for those they love. Their interconnecting stories form a deeply affecting legacy of two island families, illuminating the small miracles and miseries of a community of outsiders, and the bonds of blood and fate that connect them all. Dreamlike and yet impossibly real, profound and playful, The Shore is a richly unique, breathtakingly ambitious and accomplished debut novel by a young writer of astonishing gifts.

A perfect place for some pampering and book fairy deliveries 💚 About the books The Muse by Jessie Burton and Fat Boy Swim by Catherine Forde. On a hot July day in 1967, Odelle Bastien climbs the stone steps of the Skelton gallery in London, knowing that her life is about to change forever. Having struggled to find her place in the city since she arrived from Trinidad five years ago, she has been offered a job as a typist under the tutelage of the glamorous and enigmatic Marjorie Quick. But though Quick takes Odelle into her confidence, and unlocks a potential she didn't know she had, she remains a mystery - no more so than when a lost masterpiece with a secret history is delivered to the gallery. The truth about the painting lies in 1936 and a large house in rural Spain, where Olive Schloss, the daughter of a renowned art dealer, is harbouring ambitions of her own. Into this fragile paradise come artist and revolutionary Isaac Robles and his half-sister Teresa, who immediately insinuate themselves into the Schloss family, with explosive and devastating consequences. Seductive, exhilarating and suspenseful, The Muse is an unforgettable novel about aspiration and identity, love and obsession, authenticity and deception - a masterpiece from Jessie Burton, the million-copy author of The Miniaturist. From award-winning author, Catherine Forde, comes Fat Boy Swim, a story that will make you realise that anything is possible. Jimmy Kelly is fat. Lardy. Ginormous. Clinically obese. Inside, Jimmy doesn't feel like Smelly Kelly, Fat Boy Fat. He's just normal. His bedroom's a pit. His feet stink. He hates getting up on school mornings. If any of his classmates bothered to talk to him, instead of slagging him off, they'd find he was just as clued up as they were on films, on books, on telly, even on sport. But he wouldn't tell them that his secret talent is cooking. And Jimmy has another secret that even he doesn't know yet. A secret that will change him forever.

I know you kille" at London Paddington station - 1789838562004590722

The Trap by Melanie Raabe is set, and ready to spring on a train at Paddington Station. About the book: I know you killed my sister. I wrote this novel for you. Twelve years ago, Linda's sister Anna was murdered. Her killer was never caught, but Linda saw him. Now, all these years on, she's just seen him again. On TV. He has since become a well-known reporter, and Linda – a famous novelist and infamous recluse – knows no one will believe her if she accuses him, so she does the only thing she can think of: she writes a thriller about a woman who is murdered, her killer never caught. When the book is published, she agrees to give just one media interview. At home. To the one person who knows more about the case than she does. He knows what happened that night and she wrote a book about it but, when the doorbell rings, neither of them can be sure how the story will end.
