One of my favorite sights in Patagonia, if not the world. There are 3 spots left for my hiking and photography trip in March! If you’re into hiking in gorgeous scenery with an amazing group of women, I’d love to see you there! Click the link in my bio for more info!
Smiling from ear to ear on the last day of the first week of the #BMTMAdventures women’s Alaska tour. Now that I’ve led four weeks of these tours with four different groups, I can confidently say that the coolest, most interesting, most easygoing people ever sign up to do these. Everyone was so open to the adventures like whitewater rafting, glacier trekking, and hiking. It was such an honor to get to do this again. Thanks to all of the amazing souls who came to the last frontier with me.
Over the past few days the news out of Lombok has been heartbreaking. Earthquake after earthquake is rocking this beautiful island full of beautiful people. I wanted to help but didn’t know how. My girls @mylifesatravelmovie and @glographics are on the ground in Bali and are fundraising to help those in need on Lombok. If you feel called to contribute, hit the link in my bio. Even just a few dollars helps!
Perched high above Machu Picchu, wearing the ‘community poncho’ (which I bought from a local Quechua woman in the market and we all used for our photos!) from last year’s Peru tour. It was so much fun I couldn’t wait to return, so we’re doing it again this year! If you missed it last year, now’s your chance to come with us on this coed tour. Click the link in the bio to learn more! Because there’s SO MUCH more!
These are the towers that made the park famous, on arguably the most impressive trek in Patagonia. This is on day 8 of the hike because I believe in saving the best for last! We’ve got fewer than half of the spots left on the women’s tour here in March, plus penguins, horses, and glaciers. Hit the link in the bio to join!
Lakes, glaciers, dramatic mountains, grizzly bear paw prints, and more wild blueberries than I could eat - this is how I will always think of Alaska. This is from day four of an 8-day hike in the backcountry from last summer, and now I’m exploring the Talkeetnas on another 8-day backpacking adventure! While Denali is the most popular and most famous park in Alaska, this state is huge and there's so much more to see. The best part is you don't have to take a cruise, you can drive! We got here via Anchorage with @alamorentacar #alamodrivehappy #ad
Bringing a whole new meaning to #nofilter when you're drinking the purest water on Earth. Each time I drink glacial water I feel the need to announce, 'this water is like 10,000 years old!' because I can't get over how cool that is! This is the Root glacier - one of dozens of glaciers I saw during last year's adventure in Wrangell St. Elias National Park. This is an easy one that you can access from town without needing to fly in or hike for multiple days. We got here via Anchorage with @alamorentacar #alamodrivehappy #ad
I’m so excited to be back in the backcountry in Alaska! This is from a bush plane out to the middle of nowhere in Wrangell St. Elias National Park in Alaska. I went with two perfect strangers to hike for 8 days in the backcountry. Thankfully one of those strangers is now back with me taking a group of adventurous women through Alaska! This flight was taking us from A to B but they do scenic flights as well if you just want to get a bird's eye view of this stunning National Park. It's an easy drive east from @alamorentacar in Anchorage to the park entrance for a side of Alaska that most people don't see! #alamodrivehappy #ad
It’s like the biggest Painters palette ever of exclusively warm hues. This is one of several beautiful things we visited around Cuzco in Peru on this year’s #bmtmadventures trip. We also visited Machu Picchu, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world, and of course Rainbow Mountain, a few photos earlier in my feed. The trip was so much fun we’re doing it again in April 2019! We still have a few spots left if you’d like to join. Hit that link in my bio And feel free to ask any questions in the comments! Also, we’re in Alaska on a trip now, so follow along on my Instagram stories if you want to see what they’re like. We’re visiting husky puppies today!
