Let me tell you how green the acacias were in the summer. They were the verdant green of new things and fresh hopes. They covered the entire street, so when you looked up, it was all you can see--- a canopy of dreams, shot through with bright sunlight. Let me tell you how the smell of rain lingered on its branches when June finally came. The scent mingled with new bags and intermediate pads and plastic covers.
