Has your box of dryer sheets been gathering dust? - Since dryer sheets are notoriously toxic, laden with chemicals and even carcinogens that the companies aren’t obligated to list on the packaging, many have taken to alternative solutions. - But while using the product in your dryer is not recommended, there are in fact some amazing uses for these sheets – outside the laundry room. - Use dryer sheets are great for picking up lint, especially hair from fabric and furniture. - You ca also polish your eyeglass lenses (not plastic ones) with a used dryer sheet. They’re perfect, too, for dusting and reducing static on computer screens. - They’re excellent for dusting, in general, like furniture or even large leaves of house plants. But even more specifically, they are perfect for wiping down dusty blinds, fan blades and baseboards where dust accumulates. - You can also use used dryer sheets for dusting the dashboard and console in your car. - Hard water often leaves calcium deposits on chrome surfaces, such as your faucets or shower heads. The good news is that dryer sheets will make the chrome sparkle. Simply buff the chrome with a sheet to restore the spotless shine. - Do you have a pair of rubber-soled shoes that squeak and embarrass you? Rubbing the bottoms with a dryer sheet will get rid of that squeak. - Used dryer sheets are the answer for getting rid of smells in shoes too – sneakers, boots. For dress shoes, you can cut one sheet in half. - If you have a dry spill in your house, like flour, sawdust or any powder, using a dryer sheet will make cleanup much easier. It’s got something to do with the static, but who needs the science behind it when we can clearly see the results? - To get a dull scissor blade to cut clean again, rub it with a used dryer sheet to sharpen it. On a related note, when the bottom of your iron is no longer smooth, use a dryer sheet to smooth it down. - There are more uses. Loads more! What’re your favorite dryer sheet uses? #laundryquandary #HakolBeseder #TuesdaysTips #dryersheets #fun #easy #likeyoudeserve

TIP TUESDAY: TRICEP KICKBACKS! - ✖️Make sure your set up is correct. Keep your back flat and avoid rounding it. Keep your knees bent and soft, too. Your upper body should be hinged at a 45 degree angle. ✖️Bend your arms as if you were doing a bent over row, forming a 90 degree angle. Keep your upper arm/triceps in the same position and “kick back” your lower arm/forearm ✖️Avoid swinging your entire arms! This won’t target your triceps as much. - Tricep kickbacks are a great exercise to isolate your triceps!
Cool Azul pain cream is a staple for me. It’s great for sprains, strains, arthritis, back aches etc. if you’ve had a long day at work and you’re feeling stiff or if you carry your tension in your shoulders. Cool Azul is your best friend. I always make sure to have a bottle on hand. Young Living’s Cool Azul™ Pain Relief Cream provides cooling relief from minor muscle and joint aches, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains. Our plant-based formula combines the power of Wintergreen essential oil with our exclusive Cool Azul essential oil blend. T U E S D A Y’S • T I P To cover your cake in fondant/ sugarpaste, invest in quality icing. Measure the top of your cake and down both sides so that you know how wide you need to roll out your icing. Use icing sugar (powdered sugar) or cornstarch on your work surface to stop the icing from sticking. When you drape the icing over your cake remember to work quickly but carefully to prevent the icing from drying out too much before you’ve finished. Smooth down the top of the cake first ensuring that the icing has adhered to the edges/corners of the cake. This will stop the icing from tearing as you smooth the rest of the cake. Gradually work your way around the cake smoothing out the icing and any air bubbles. Keep practicing and you will master it. I still have off days so don’t give up. 😉 Happy baking! #tuesdaystips #tuesdaymotivation #bakingisfun #cakedecorating #sugarpastecake #sugarflowers #sugarcraft #weddingcake #vintageweddingcakes #weddingvenue #weddingplanner #weddingphotography #wedmin #diywedding #beezcakes #peckhambusinesses
