George's right shoulder pain suddenly started hurting when he reached for a paper in the back of his car. He said the pain was 8/10. His right shoulder extension was greatly decreased. After repeated @mckenzieusa shoulder extensions and dry needling his pain was 3/10 and range of motion greatly improved. #sportschiropractor

🔷DRY NEEDLING🔷 A fantastic and effective treatment to relieve musculoskeletal conditions, interesting facts ⤵️. 1️⃣Helps eliminate muscle knots (trigger points) that can cause local and referred pain (HELLO HEADACHES) 🙅🏼‍♂️ 2️⃣Works on a neurological and hormonal level to reduce pain and inflammation ⚡️ 3️⃣The needles are as thin as a few strands of hair, so treatments rarely hurt 🥇 4️⃣Can be more effective than standard soft tissue massage, because treatment involves working directly IN the muscle belly and not just on the surface of the skin. 5️⃣Effective at treating sport injuries, chronic pain, headaches, back pain, and TMD syndrome.🏅 If you are having some nagging pain and think dry needling could help you, give us a call or direct message us here! 937.382.1727

🔶Treatment of headaches/mechanical neck pain🔶 ⬇️ ... 1️⃣ consider the ligament of nuchae (as seen in the photo). This puppy is a dense triangular fibroelastic intermuscular septum which has direct fibrous attachment to the spinal dura. ➡️Meaning: problems in this structure can potentially cause tension around the brain. The ligament is formed from aponeurotic attachments of the some of the neck and interscapular muscles. 🧠TREATMENT: ☑️FR treatment of the Nuchal ligament to normalize tissue tension and re-establish adequate neck motion ☑️Apply controlled articular rotations (CARs) to upload the newly acquired range of motion to the central nervous system. #sportschiropractor

Increasing the strength on your torso rotation with the Lunge/Split Stance One Arm Press. This is great to do in conjunction with the stretches we showed you last week. Excellent to improve your 🏌️ golf swing 🏌️ You can do it with tubing as shown here or with a cable machine. Anchored at the highest point possible. 1) Stand in the lunge/split stance with your left left forward if you are holding the gamble in your left hand. 2) Lean forward like you are in your golf stance. 3) While keeping your lower body steady, no rotation, push the cable and rotate your upper body back and forth. 4) switch sides. This is doing 4 different things which are very important for the 🏌️ Golf swing 🏌️ 1-Lower Body Stability 2-Lower Body Balance 3-Disassociating your upper body from your lower body (moving your upper body and not your lower body) 4-Increasing your Push Strength Implement this in your your workout and improve the strength and resistance for more power in your swing 🏌️ #sportschiropractor

Feeling so grateful for this journey. So many people view dieting, and even working out, as a punishment. Both are such a privilege. To fuel your body, to challenge your body, to chase health, to make it stronger—all are privileges. Even dieting. There are those that starve not by choice. To have the ability to make the choice and decide what goes into your body, to choose self control, to push your limits—pure privilege. There are those who don’t have the ability, and there are those who don’t have what it takes. For that, for standing here this deep in a serious fight of will power... I’m GRATEFUL. 🙏🏽 . Also grateful for the inspiring, motivating, and strong people that have come into my life along the way. My fit sis @esteereneeallday being one. Always there with a word of support and encouragement—can’t thank you enough girl for simply caring. You’ve been such a light along the way for me. 🙌🏽 Can’t wait to watch you kill the stage in two weeks and take that hardware! 😘 . #sportschiropractor
