When you want to look after your body because for health reasons and also do good by animals and the planet ... but the shop crashes on your wallet ..$89 to buy organic veggies and most of them were all in plastic... took me an hour to try to budget a week of food for my husband and I ... no wonder people rather just go for cheap quality food but in the long run families spend more on doctors and hospital fees ... very disappointed and its not only Woolworths and Coles we should blame for plastic packaging... shame on you local farmers .. understandable with maybe costs but explain the plastic.? No excuse #plasticpollution

What are single-use plastics? (Part 2) How did we come to rely so heavily on single use plastics? Plastic is cheap to produce, lightweight, versatile, and easy to make. Because of these reasons, we produce more plastic than any other material. This trend started in the 1950’s and seems like it will continue for the next 10-15 years. Global plastic production is still on the rise and it’s shifted from durable plastics to single-use plastics.
