Having to take over a month off of squats to nurse the knee/health = 😭😭😭 ?!😰 Now I'm FINALLY (possibly only slightly dramatic🤷..) getting to reintroduce some moves back in to the fitness routine using only body weight with a goal of working up to resistance bands. This girl can't wait to get back into front squats with real weights and bars!! ✨You may not be exactly where you want to be right now in this very moment. Circumstances may be far from ideal and even may feel like they're working against you.. But if we choose to embrace where we are now and let go of the mental resistance..we may come to find we really have everything we need to work our way up to those "impossible" goals. Sometimes it's not truly as scary and hard as we make it out to be.. the hardest decision may just be to simply Start & Begin..As Is. #NoExcuses ✨ It's Not About Perfection..But . Your future self will only thank you for that effort.😘☀️🌻

I usually don’t make excuses when it comes to training. I find a way to do what I want to do or I find an alternative substitute. But I’ve made excuses about pull-ups for well over a year. Excuses end NOW. . . Never been good at pull-ups. Ever. But less than 2 years ago I was able to bang out 5 dead hang, no kipping, legit neutral grip pull-ups. I worked damn hard to get there and I was SO proud. Fast forward to long battle with pneumonia and lingering breathing issues and weight gain through that and I pretty much lost them by this time last year. Oh yeah...then I had hip surgery in July. . . Recovering and rehabbing after surgery could have and should have included pull-ups...but they didn’t. I was afraid. Afraid of how hard it was going to be to get them back, afraid of the extra work it would take ON TOP of my hip rehab work. So I made excuses. I blew them off...until TODAY. . . I did all of the things that Got me doing pull-ups in the first place, ending with this: slight hop off the top of my toe to give me a boost out of the hole. It worked. It will keep working along with the other pull-up tools in my arsenal. I just have to put in the time and the work. But the hardest part is over. Day 1. Pull-up journey 2018. Goal is 5 by August. Keep me honest, peeps. Progress vids to come. 💪🏼💜😎 . . #noexcuses

As much as I hate cardio (if you know me you know I talk so much shit), I do believe it’s necessary to some extent for heart and mental health. I mean, this picture of me screams “Get your ass out there...you need to run!” 😂 . . . I hate every single minute of any type of cardio, but I force myself to push through because I know the benefits. Running outside and the stair master are my current preferences; unless I have a stadium to run. If I have a stadium, I’ll be there for hours. By far my favorite type of cardio. Stadiums are the best, especially at UF! @uflorida I will always stand by cardio is hardio. . . . Also, this picture is after I ate about 3,000-4,000 calories for dinner. 🤣 . . . #NoExcuses

Day 7 of , this one is a total throw back to May 17. I've been going to the gym for over 4 years now and it's definitely part of my life, regardless to knee surgery, regardless of pregnancy, I need the gym.
