My sister and I walked around in an abandoned resort in Ubud, thought this spot was nice for a picture but when we stood still for 2 seconds we were covered in mosquitoes😲😅 my sis got huge red bites on her back, they were so enormous that people on the street looked shocked at her and where whispering about how bad it looked. So now sharing this picture that her efforts weren't for nothing, sort of🙄 haha if you read this do you want to say sometimes nice to her?😄😘 Thank you Illie @iljatiwow

That morning at our campsite that I needed to rush to the bathroom in the early morning hours and spotted this magical lake setup...and instead going to the bathroom, I ran back to the van, woke up my boyfriend grabbed my camera and took some pictures. Priorities first, right! 😅 . .

Are bloggers really "selling-out"? What's a fair advertisement and what is not? Is every product placement an advertisement? Does it make a difference if the products are gifted or purchased? I'd like to know your opinion. Personally, I have a handful of paid collaborations per year and out of all the gifts that I receive from brands (hundreds), I feature less than 5% - those that have *really* impressed me (I’m hard to impress 🤣). Sometimes, I actually contact brands that I already love and ask them whether they'd be interested in a collaboration. If they agree, I get to choose my favorite products or clothes from them in exchange for a feature in my social media (no other compensation). But in 95% of my posts I feature items that I purchased myself. So is it still an advertisement if I simply tag brands in my photos? I noticed that many German bloggers started saying "This is an add since I tagged the brands" to be sure that their accounts won't be "punished" by Instagram for hiding sponsored content ...and this just doesn't make sense to me. Me too, I want to be as transparent as possible and I hate bloggers who obviously lie about purchasing certain products that they were obviously gifted (and most likely paid to promote). But shouldn't there be more clarification about the nature of the "add" rather than "this is an add"? For example, "purchased", "gifted" or "hired to promote". In my opinion, the first 2 types of "adds" are really different from the third type. And while I agree that featuring "purchased" items is technically an advertisement for the brand, it doesn't make sense to me that the only posts that are *not* considered as adds are those with 0 tags. 📸: @deci_dela edit by me 🎨

This morning we took a bus to Thira and then hiked the 6 miles back to Oia. There were incredible views the entire hike and by far my favorite part was climbing to the top of Skaros Rock (you literally have to climb if you want to get to the top).
