Gathering my thoughts after a very draining day and injury. Never stopping is better than giving up. All afternoon I've been beating myself up about the seconds that could have helped me. If 10 seconds faster is what I need to be than I'm doing to train for 20 seconds. Then I'm going to train for 30 seconds! New countdown, T-27 days The stress is gone and now the fun begins.... #getstronger

3 days worth of “active recovery” by enjoying a nice little road trip with my family (we had a blast/pics to come!♥️) was more than enough for me 😎🤙🏽 without training.. lol! Hit it nice and hard with some OHS for my strength portion (wrists were too sore to go heavier though 😵)...And came up with a spicy 🌶 Metcon of power cleans/front squats/chin-ups/V-ups which made for 192 total reps for my score 🏋🏽‍♀️.. Not shabby! Followed by some core work, Tabata which I hadn’t done in a long time and some nice Bicep Curls for the girls! 💪🏽🌷Not sure if I’ll have time to train tomorrow or Monday since we’ll have a busy schedule but I shall try! So happy though I got to do this and also, make a delicious Enchiladas/refried beans dinner 🍴 for my family 😍♥️Great Saturday night!!!#getstronger

Whenever I am preparing to head out of town for any amount of time I always like to get in a good sweat sesh.💪🏻🔥💥🙋🏼‍♀️It helps focus my mind, boost the metabolism, and release pent up anxiety related to packing & prepping. 🔥This is a leg & cardio circuit I did today as part of my 45-min workout. Repeat 3x (only 30-60 seconds between each circuit rep) and aim to stay moving the whole time. This was perfect to get super warmed up and break a good sweat (which is super healthy for the heart, skin, and metabolism 😉). 🔈(I really wish I knew how to get IG to let me post videos with music...they get blocked or muted every time, WTH?? Any tips?) ............
