Caffeine ☕️ improves performance 🏋️‍♀️ for infrequent drinker⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ☕️ Coffee is known to be the best and probably only pre-workout that actually works!⠀⠀ Plenty of studies demonstrated that the right amount of caffeine can improve your performance. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ☝️There is a but, if you drink too much coffee/tea, your body get desensitised. It's a fancy term to say your body got used to caffeine and it has now no more effect. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 📚A study led by sports scientists at Dublin City University, looked at this specific topic, with an experiment on 18 male sports athletes. ⠀⠀ Caffeinated chewing gum, with 200 mg of caffeine, were given before sprints.⠀⠀ 📊 The study revealed that performance increased only in the people that assumed less than 40 mg/day of caffeine. ⠀⠀ There was no visible effect on people that was regularly consuming more than 130 mg/day. ⠀⠀ To give you some reference, a one shot capuccino has roughly 70-80 mg of caffeine. We want to warm up our muscle temp as well as connect our nervous system to our muscular system for faster response. - This shoulder warm up is designed to help the shoulder perform overhead movement - Each exercise is used to help the slide or the humerus perform its job so we can connect our nervous system to the slide for faster response time. - This shoulder warm up is also used to help decrease the impingement of our shoulders when doing things like bench press and any other pushing movement. 3 sets of 8 ball roll out 3 sets of 6 each side wall ball 3 sets of 8 over and back 3 sets 8 band pull aparts

I was looking back on pictures from last year and I am just an shock. In the spring of 2017 I was at my lowest point. Heaviest, unhappy and stressed. I was having migraines 3-4 times a week. I was failing school and I was getting rid of some toxicity in my life. Over a year later, I can say that I am the happiest, healthiest I have EVER been. I am with someone who pushes to be the best version of myself and who believes in me every step of the way. I am KILLIN’ it in nursing school with 3 terms left till graduation. My life is finally coming together. Did a nice leg and shoulder combo today with some core thrown in on the dumbbell squats. Used the dumbbells again for the focus lunges and followed it up with some dumbbell burpees for the kill with @dadamnking74 . . . . . #fitinspiration
