When someone suggests to me they are bored of eating the same old foods day in day out I am totally baffled by the lack of imagination on their behalf. . There are hundreds if not thousands of options out there for you to play with. Simple experimentation with different food sources, herbs, spices, different food combinations and methods of cooking. . You don’t have to be a master chef for good old trial and error. If something doesn’t work, do something different with it next time. . Today’s experiment: baked graffiti aubergine seasoned with smoked paprika. . Slice aubergine, whack it in a sandwich bag, bash in a load of paprika, swill it round a bit. Straight onto a baking tray, into the oven, leave for 30 minutes turning several times. . Also baked sweet potato fries with pan fried sea bass & kale. . Simple, easy. . Verdict: decent. Could have added slightly more paprika mane some salt. Will try grilling next time. . .

💥Warming up vs Pre-activity preparation. - Before we start yes I stuffed up the title 🤦‍♂️and also i’d like to thank @kurtrawlinsfitness For the inspiration for this post. - Warming up is typically known to do a couple minutes on a cardio machine, some static stretching and get into it. - I personally have done this and got my clients to do it when I first started. But after years of studying and volunteering with other health professionals, I have found warming up has three necessities👇🏻 1️⃣Elevates your heart rate and increase your body temperature. This will prime your organs for activity. 2️⃣Dynamically mobilise your joints and muscles to the parts of body you are about to work. This will loosen them up to increase performance and prevent injury. 3️⃣Activation circuit Doing this will excite your nervous system to target the muscles and fire them up.
