Getting closer to that long lean surfer frame and only been to the gym twice in 2 weeks waiting until 12 to have your first meal is def the way to go especially if you’re working a lot and can’t find the time to work out or just extremely lazy.. coffee and water until noon everyday also find it greatly helps with mental clarity and focus I think because the discipline it takes to not eat transfers to everything else that you’re doing💪 highly recommend this lifestyle for people who care about their physique but can’t make time for the gym. On a side note taking the NASM Certification exam in 2 days can’t wait to add a new page to my book 📚 🤘another side note I highly recommend tiger balm for sore muscles put that ass on ice. 🐯 #fasting

One of my meals of the day 😊 ramen noodles (I know it’s not plant based but it’s under the calories I’m allowed. I still lose weight eating it. 😋), 1/2 chickpeas, and snap peas. The picture does not include the ramen seasoning. - - This meal is ~500 calories. So far, I’ve lost ~2 pounds a day. I’ll post my weigh in pic tomorrow. - - Follow to see my journey. I know I haven't been posting much lately. Part of it is just lack of desire and part of it is making a concious effort to spend less time on my phone. I like leaving it in the other room for most of the day on some days. Sometimes it's cuz I'm busy listening to true crime podcasts. Other times it's just work and life. I haven't lost or gained a significant amount of weight. I'm maintaining for the most part. I'd like to be a little leaner, but I am ok with where I am at the moment. Following an intermittent fasting easting schedule to keep my eating in check. I have the ability to eat and eat and eat and never stop. Sometimes I'll be out to eat with people and they won't finish their plate and sigh "I'm so full!" And I wonder, "what's that like? Cuz I can eat this and finish their plate too and probably make room for ice cream afterward." Full!? I don't know the feeling, really! For me the intermittent fasting works like "ok my stomach is closed for the night" and for some reason it just makes resisting all the snacks that much easier. At 2-3 am there's usually some kind of candy/cake/donuts/cookies available to eat at work. And when I think, "Do I want some?" The answer is yes. If I think, "Am I really hungry?" The answer is no. Fasting helps to burn fat but maintain muscle mass. Also helps with aging and so many other aspects of health. I really don't care about my weight. I care about my body composition and overall health. I want to maintain my approximate size so I don't have to buy new clothes. And that's what keeps me motivated. I'm not by any means a competing athlete but instead just a working woman who switches back and forth between nightshift and being awake during the days on my days off. Irregular sleep schedule isn't helpful but I've found a way to manage it. I fast for 12-16 hours a day and eat within 8-10 hours of waking. So I can sleep in to eat breakfast later or eat an early dinner if I plan to be up early. So this is what I've been doing to MAINTAIN my weight and to remain healthy. Also just trying to be active and getting out of the house as much as possible. Hope that helps for those wondering. ❤️
