You can be as strong as you can be, as fit as you can be; but if your mental game is not there you’ll never reach your full potential 🙃 Hate watching videos back of me training and seeing how weak I’ve been! In competitive sport there’s no place to feel sorry for yourself; and especially at top levels, where abilities of athletes are more or less equal, the ones who succeed, the ones who people remember are the ones who squeezed out the last few reps, who hung on for one more rep, who battled their mind because deep down they knew their body could do it 💪 I’m currently training because I love it, I love pushing myself and I love functional fitness and the sadistic burn that comes with it 🏋️‍♂️ but the competitor within me will always be disappointed if I know I could have pushed hard or been mentally stronger 🤷‍♂️ this post is for those who want to be competitive, who want to win and be the very best! Know your body, know your strengths and weaknesses, and work your mental game to a point where quitting and failure is never an option 🤓 🎥 these clips just show how much of a drop off there is between my sets in terms of length of rest... *Not trying to be negative; I still had fun doing adult PE in my classics and bandana ✌️
