Big bulk item shop at @obpeoplesorganicfoodmarket today because, let’s face it, this baby is due in less than 6 weeks and I need to get things sorted before then! 1️⃣ From left to right: back row has dish soap, conditioner in the Head and Shoulders container, olive oil, honey, and Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap. Second row is peanut butter, witch hazel, and aloe vera gel. Front is packaged probiotics. I’m excited to make some personal care items with the witch hazel and aloe (ahem, perineal spray and padsicles). I normally don’t buy probiotics, but I’ve read they may reduce my chances of popping positive for group B strep which means I wouldn’t have to be on antibiotics during labor 🤞🏻 2️⃣ Coffee, steel cut oats, and cacao/goji berry bites all in my own containers. Cheese and vitamins came packaged, as did the aluminum foil and mason jar lids. Aluminum foil is another of those items I don’t usually buy (actually, I’ve never bought it...) but Ian REALLY WANTED FOIL so #happyhubbyhappylife And, it’s 100% recycled so 🤷🏻♀️ 3️⃣ TP, though we just got a bidet which is totally #badass and everyone should have one! Thanks to that, this pack will last us a while. And packaged laundry detergent because the kind I was DIYing for a while isn’t gonna cut it for cloth diapers 🙅🏻♀️ Luckily, I can refill the container once I run out. Bulk shopping of this magnitude does take a bit of foresight, but I love knowing I saved at least 16 pieces of packaging from going to landfill today! I’m incredibly lucky to live in a city with such great bulk access (especially liquid bulk!), but if you look carefully, you can find bulk everywhere 👀
it’s your girl lazy daisy, I had the most magnificent afternoon today just lying on the boat and listening to the lovely sounds of nature, as if listening to a meditation nature tape
eco friendly fashion? what are your go to’s for wearing all natural?
